My story.
When I was a child, I had an unwavering curiosity about the world and my parents would answer my endless questions happily. As I got older and my lens of the world and people became deeper and wider, I grew to love the questions, almost more than the answers. Perhaps this is why I was drawn to become a psychologist. I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, a place where nature speaks vibrantly and many of my family remain. I attended the University of Washington on partial academic and gymnastics scholarships. After receiving my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from UW and saying goodbye to the rigors and joys of competitive gymnastics, I headed to California and Chicago to complete my PhD. My graduate school years allowed for new adventures and personal discoveries, ultimately leading me to Boulder, Colorado in 1996. It was love at first sight and I decided that the Front Range would be the perfect place for me to establish my career as a psychologist as well as pursue an active, outdoor lifestyle.

When I am not working with my clients or in my office, I am most likely running, hiking, climbing or camping in the beautiful Colorado outdoors with my friends or my husband and dog Meera. On low-key days, I love jigsaw puzzles, gardening, cooking or just being silly and reminiscing with friends .
